Martin Management is hiring for a Title Clerk to join our team! Are you an organized individual? Do you pay incredible attention to detail? Do you have prior experience working in an automotive dealership? If you answered yes, we want to talk to you!

THE ROLE

The Title Clerk processes all vehicle transactions. Prepares legal transfer documents for the county court clerk or DMV in accordance with state law. Must present a professional appearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
  • Process new and used car transactions.
  • Submit vehicle contracts and required documents to lenders.
  • Maintain new and used car inventory logs.
  • Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Stay abreast of title regulations.
  • Finalize usage tax and title documents.
  • Receive and process paperwork from the F&I department.
  • Process all legal transfer documents to the county court clerk or DMV in accordance with state law.
  • Send processed title and registration documents to customers.
  • Must perfect liens in timely manner in accordance with federal and state law.
  • Contact governmental offices to inspect vehicles with out-of-state titles.
  • File customer jackets for new, used and wholesale vehicle sales.
  • Complete all training as directed by supervisor.
  • Follow policies and procedures as set forth in Employee Handbook.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally in one-on-one situations to customers and other associates
  • Must have experience processing title work in a dealership environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Computer literacy and must be able to learn Company software
